WIWT - Summer Edition
A warm, sunny day in San Francisco is like finding a diamond in the rough. So when a day like today comes along, it’s nice to be able to walk outside and not sweat profusely.
Over the past couple of months, I’ve been upgrading my wardrobe so that I have more appropriate seasonal clothing. I picked up this L.B.M. 1911 Jacket from Yoox a few months ago (which you might remember seeing here). It’s a nice blend of wool, linen, cotton, and cashmere, which basically means it’s really light and soft.
I also picked up some linen extra slim sport shirts from Brooks Brothers during their sale a few weeks ago. Brooks Brothers extra slim sports shirts fit me rather well, so it was nice to be able to have some breathable shirts that didn’t cost me a fortune.
I know that clothes made out of linen are a lot easier to get wrinkled, but it’s the trade off I’m willing to make so I won’t sweat to death.

B. Nelson resoled some Alden beaters with a red brick Dainite sole and a natural welt. These look great and I would also highly recommend B. Nelson for NYC shoe repair.
