Want all of this, minus the bowtie

In a sea of my own jaded thoughts concerning classic menswear etc. , this makes me very happy.
How to speak Italian: Parkas over Double Breasted Jackets.
Getting excited for fall? Well shut up because it’s still 90% humidity in New York, dickhead.
This’ll probably be filed under “things I’ll try this Fall and fail at”, but I’m going to try nonetheless. I understand that the guys pictured above hold black belts in the Sart-ial Arts from Mr. Schuman’s Online Dojo of Polaroids, but I’ve always admired how traditional they’ve made an otherwise ridiculous combination look.
Other than keeping the jacket underneath trim I think “going original” on the M65 gives you some wiggle room on price and alterations. As they say, fit is everything, so if you can tailor the jacket to your specs I think you’re in a better position than spending those hard earned dollars elsewhere. And if the quality is good enough for the US Marine Corps then it’ll probably withstand a few nights on those rough city streets of the Lower East Side.

FYI, homeboy on the top right is wearing the Original.
